Fashion design workshops

Our young designer workshops, for ages 6-8, 8 – 11 and 11-14 years, are perfect for budding designers to have fun and get creative. Make your own dress, design your own clothes, customise outfits to your style, and create your own fashion line! Our workshops are great for kids who love arts and crafts, children and young people who love fashion, or anyone looking for a fun activity after school or in the school holidays. Our after-school and holiday workshops provide young fashion designers with a fun and relaxed space to get creative. Students learn the basics and quickly progress to creating their own designs and clothes. Workshops are suitable for complete beginners and more advanced students. The emphasis is on having fun, socialising and learning new skills, with workshops adapted to meet all needs and ability levels. All materials and equipment are provided and young people are able to take home and wear their own creations. Every session is different and we cover various activities relating to fashion design including designing and making clothes, creating textiles and prints, learning how professionals design, figure drawing and designing, arts and crafts with a fashion twist and fashion photography.

In our workshops we create clothes, bags, hair-bands, accessories, jewellery and much more. Learn the design process, sewing techniques and how to recycle and customise your own outfits. Please see our Showcase to see what others are making in our workshops.

We offer holiday fashion schools, after-school clubs, and summer schools – brilliant for anyone looking for fun activities for children and young people. Please contact us to book your place on the workshops. Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment
